Sichuan Energy Investment Development Co., Ltd. was founded in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on Sept. 29, 2011 with a registered capital of 1.074 billion yuan. The company (stock code: 01713) was listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange in December 2018, becoming the first company in the mainland’s electricity distribution and sales industry to be listed on the H-shares market.

The company is vertical power supplier and service provider for generating, distributing and selling of electricity for the city of Yibin, Sichuan Province. It now owns six county-level power supply companies, three power generation companies, five power sales company and one power engineering and construction company. The company's main business includes the generation, supply, distribution and sales of electricity, engineering and construction service, new energy, power added-value service. As at 31 December 2025, the Company’s total assets amounted to RMB7.638 billion and net assets amounted to RMB3.829 billion.
